"For years, my interactions with Michele and her team were satisfactory. I had no direct contact with Michele after initially enrolling in insurance policies. Subsequently, I would call and speak with assistants who managed payment arrangements, address changes, and other routine clerical tasks. However, when I needed to file my first claim, I truly understood the nature of my agent. It is during such times that a State Farm agent should really step in to assist, alleviate worries, and streamline the process. Unfortunately, this was not my experience with Michele. Firstly, it was difficult to reach her by phone, and she actually forgot about our scheduled call. She appeared somewhat irritated and did not provide clear answers to my questions. Throughout our conversation, I encountered snarky remarks and a condescending tone. Two weeks later, she left a voicemail indicating she had spent more time on my claim than she should have, yet she failed to deliver substantial results and suggested I do more of the groundwork for my claim like contacting the dealership who did the repairs. Moreover, her office had promised a refund greater than what I received, and when I brought this up, she started backpedaling without clarifying why she couldn't honor the original offer. To exacerbate the situation, she called me a bully and abruptly told me to find a new agent. Find a new agent? It was my first claim with State Farm, and she failed to deliver proper results or show any empathy for my situation. She was rude and unprofessional, and after this experience, I am indeed looking forward to finding a new agent."
